We have rented many houses through the years, and this was the best apportioned of any of them. House is beautiful and spotlessly clean, with entertainment for all and the owner had made it as easy as possible to navigate and enjoy. Couldn't have been better!

Peaceful haven, all the fun amenities. Beautiful spotless property in a peaceful cove with the perfect view as we relaxed on the deck. The hot tub was awesome and unwound all our travel stress. The house is so comfortable - slept great. Kitchen was fully equipped to cook for family. We’ll have to stay longer next time and enjoy the games and kayaks on the lake. Owner was so prompt and helpful to respond to any questions. Thanks for a great stay!!

This property was fabulous. We played with the paddle boards and kayaks and roasted marshmallows. We rented a boat from 77 Watersports. All 9 of us a a wonderful week. Thank you.

This home was perfect for our family vacation. There was space to be together and to be apart, as needed. All ages were entertained- and that’s with out using the basement game room!!! My favorite was sitting on the upper porch overlooking the water every morning. Thank you for sharing your lovely home.

Amazing Lake Vacation Home. Our stay at Edgewater Escapes was absolutely amazing. The property is stunning, both inside and out, and Andrea has made sure it’s been outfitted with every comfort and amenity. I stayed with my parents, brother and his family and our own baby, so we had all age groups and we all had a fantastic time. From swimming off the dock to using the kayaks and paddle boards, and making s’mores with the fire pit, it was amazing. We rented a tritoon boat for a couple days which is also highly recommended. Andrea is incredibly responsive and helpful as well. Would highly recommend!

Favorite Property on VRBO. We travel and book with VRBO all the time and it never disappoints but this one has been my Favorite thus far and mainly bc the owners personally reached out to make sure we were checked in and had everything we needed they also went above and beyond to let us have a late check out bc our arrival was very late due to bad weather. The house came very neat and stocked with soap and trash bags along with toiletries. The beds slept amazing and the whole experience was over the top spectacular. We will definitely be planning a trip to the same property very soon.

Loved our time there. We were there for a teambuilding work trip and we had a wonderful time! The home and location are perfect. There's lots to do locally if you wish to venture out but there are also many activities inside and outside if you wish to stay at the house. Swimming right off the dock was so much fun and then we also had the hot tub at night when it cooled off. We did enjoy eating on the covered deck with the views of the lake and taking the kayaks out every morning. The house was very clean and well stocked. We didn't have any problems during our stay but when we did have questions Andrea was great and answered right away. Would definitely go back!! Thank you, Andrea!!

We had some seriously bad luck, with it raining almost the entire time we were there. However, the house was absolutely perfect for us. By far the most well stocked, cleanest, user friendly VRBO place we have ever stayed in. No detail is overlooked, from the very well stocked kitchen to the portable chargers conveniently plugged in on the bedside nightstands waiting for your phone. The video game consoles, the board games, and the spacious bedrooms all made our stay enjoyable, even though we couldn’t enjoy the lake.

The home was perfect for our family. We came to visit for the week with my kids and their cousins, as well as my mom. My husband and I had to work the beginning of the week and there was a wonderful office with mouse, monitor, etc. The covered deck was perfect for taking conference calls as well while watching the kids swim. The cove was wide enough to allow all sorts of fun in the water, but protected enough to be away from major boat traffic. The beds were super comfy and the basement was perfect, the kids took over and then the adults had the upstairs. Andrea was super responsive and very kind. Would highly recommend!

We had a great stay here! The property was just as listed and very clean. We had a large group and everyone fit comfortably. There was plenty of parking for our two vehicles as well as two trucks with boat trailers, boat ramp is very close to the house which was great! I mistakenly thought the property offered a high chair and when I asked the host, they informed me it did not but that they had purchased one and it would be delivered same day. They went above and beyond and it was much appreciated so now the property offers a pack-n-play and a high chair which is so nice when traveling with small kids to not have to haul those items. The host was great about checking in on us and responding to messages. We would definitely stay here again!!

Outstanding Property & Management. Get ready to visit a dear friend or relative- that's what you will get when staying here. Top of the line everything including kitchen items and supplies. This was probably one of the cleanest )who folds those towels) and best maintained house we have ever stayed in. Ideal for a big family or group of friends- the neighborhood is beautiful and the lake view is to die for. Close to everything, yet far enough away to get away from it all. Andrea was a pleasure to work with- her instructions and helpful information really added to our stay. We would love to see them add a fire pit (we had the first crisp fall nights) but trust me when I say its PERFECT! Thank you for everything.

If you are looking for a great getaway with family, this is the place for you. I wanted our family to be together under one roof to celebrate Christmas, when I saw Edgewater Escape I knew it was perfect! The house was very clean and fully stocked with everything you needed. I requested a Christmas tree for my grandchildren and Andrea made that happen! The game room and totally downstairs was a hit with the grandkids. We enjoyed some time by the fire pit and swing was so peaceful and relaxing. Upon check in there were pancakes and maple syrup left for us and came in handy Christmas morning , everyone enjoyed them. Andrea thank you for your prompt responses and letting us enjoy your beautiful lake home. Will definitely be planning a summer getaway!

We enjoyed our stay at the house very much. We were there for a month and it had everything we needed for me to work from home and fish while we stayed there. I was able bring my boat down and I had it docked behind the house during our stay. The fishing was great and the lake wasn't too crowded since it was before the busy season. The lake views in the backyard are great and the property is very peaceful. The bedrooms all had televisions and were very comfortable and the kitchen had all of the amenities we needed. The host Andrea was very helpful and offered excellent advice on area attractions. The house was able to accommodate a lot more people than our small party and the entire downstairs area full of games would be great for kids. I would definitely stay at this house again.

Something for everyone!!! Our favorite lake rental ever. Beautiful home in shady setting on secluded cove. Amenities galore. Great kids' game rooms, firepit, hot tub, & comfortable spaces everywhere, even an office. The kitchen had so many things stocked for creating all our meals. For a birthday treat night, we took a 7 minute boat ride to Toucans, a nice lakefront restaurant. There's a nice, wooded walking trail right across the street. For 12 of us, there was plenty of space, for whole family gatherings (watching Olympics on big screen TV at night) or many small peaceful nooks, inside and out. The fishing at the dock was as good as anywhere on the lake, evidenced by frequent fishing boats testing the waters, and a big catfish and many smaller fish easily caught by our 6 grandchildren. The 4 kayaks and 2 paddleboards offered loads of fun on the water. There's a very ingenious dock ladder for easy in and out swimming access. Thank you Andrea, for providing us this wonderful Edgewater Escape. We hope to return!

Wow...do not miss out on this beautiful home on Lake Norman! Our family had the best time in this stunning home. The entire home was spotless, spacious and full of entertainment. We fished off the docks, enjoyed the kayaks, stand up paddleboards, and the island that is close by which the kids enjoyed. This home is in a quiet cove, which made us feel safe with the kids on the water. The home offered so many little touches between a clean hot tub, amazing smokeless fire pit, seasonings in the kitchen, plenty of towels and so much more. Amazing family vacation, do not miss out!

This home is beautifully decorated and has everything you need for a wonderful vacation. It's location in a cove is perfect for daily floats after kayaking around the lake. Soaking in the hot tub is a great way to end the day. Edgewater Escape will not disappoint. I can't wait to go back!!

Our Lake Norman Airbnb was an absolute dream! From the moment we arrived, every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. The home itself is stunning—spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated. The accommodations were beyond perfect, making it feel like a true home away from home. The lakefront setting is magical. We loved relaxing on the swing by the water and gathering around the fire pit in the evenings—it made for the perfect balance of relaxation and fun. Every amenity we could imagine was available, making our stay completely seamless and enjoyable. If you’re looking for a getaway that checks every box, this is it. A gorgeous home, breathtaking views, and hosts who truly go above and beyond. Without a doubt, 5 stars all the way!

This place was perfect for us! We had 9 guys staying here for the NC state tennis tournament and every one of us was very impressed with everything. They even had coffee and pancake mix waiting for us when we showed up. Very easy process from beginning to end! We will be back!
